Immediate Plan of Action

I'm going to be doing a stock-take of all my Kryomek bits and pieces over the weekend so I know exactly where I am. They're currently secreted about the house in various wardrobes and cupboards, not to mention the stash in the garage. I'll then be able to formulate a plan of attack.

I think first up will be to finally knock off the Cyclo Cention I've had on the go for what seems like forever. There're only a few figures left to paint, and then I'll be able to take a step back and call something "done". After that, it'll be whatever takes my fancy.

To keep you interested, I've got a couple of pics of the swarm as it currently stands. I took these for a comp on Frothers, but I'll repost them here for completeness.

  1. I am loving the colour scheme of your swarm the ones I painted back in the 90's were all a boring black gun metal colour, yours have really come to life, do a future post on painting one step by step with close ups

  2. This is a great little blog! I have toyed with the idea of re-booting my Kryomek collection at some point. Someone stole mine from a cupboard in the 90s...I have about three models left over: an EBS cyclo, a warrior and a talos. I really like the muted colour scheme of the bugs you've chosen; it's even better that they are 'Army Painter'-ed. I have recenty got back into collecting for gaming again, and I invested in a tin of AP shade.

    1. Thanks for the nice comments. I've been away for a while, but lately felt a yearning to get back into painting.

I definitely feel the AP results are good enough for my purposes. Hopefully you'll get something you're happy with as well.

    2. Helloo!

Glad you've returned! I hear you're just up the road from me (I'm in Cambridge). So if you ever want a game of Kryomek, with your extensive forces. Let me know.

Or maybe they're just for show? ;¬)
